This year is a very special year for us: JOB GmbH, in addition to the detectomat GmbH as one of the fundamental business parts of the JOB Group, celebrates its anniversary:

The JOB GmbH was established in 1971 by Dipl.-Ing. Eduard J. Job. Since their introducing JOB THERMO BULBS have become the standard heat responsive glass bulbs for the sprinkler industry. Due to high quality and reliability up to 800 Million JOB THERMO BULBS are now being installed worldwide by all major sprinkler manufacturers for service in fire protection and life safety.
JOB GmbH developed smaller and faster THERMO BULBS retaining the superior features of previous designs thus meeting all requirements of effective fire safety. The JOB GmbH was the first company who introduced Fast Response THERMO BULBS to the industry.
In the past, the JOB Group with its specialists for fire protection, achieved many objectives by research and development and has been growing continuously as producer of high-quality detectors.

Our innovative products with numerous patents cover the whole range of fire detection of addressable systems next to solutions for voice alarm and detection in particular applications, up to smoke detectors for the private sector.
In areas where a thermally actuated self-releasing mechanism is required to operate in the event of fire, such as Kitchen Hoods, Paint Booths, ect. JOB THERMO BULB LINKS can be used. JOB has combined the successfully proven THERMO BULB technology with a strong and innovative Link design.
Honoured for his work and innovations, Eduard J. Job was rewarded with the “Golden Award” as one of the best awards in the sprinkler industry.
Based on the experiences, the JOB group and detectomat developed 1999 into a system supplier in the fire alarm industry. Therefore detectomat is known throughout the world for its high quality and reliability next to rapid evolving growth rates of 25% - every year.
With emphasis on the product range of smoke detectors, detectomat GmbH established the branch - “detectomat living” which is fully integrated into the JOB group, maintaining the highest product standards.
